Private Layers
Coming Soon: Private Layers We’re introducing Private Layers to give you and project stakeholders more control, privacy, and flexibility when collaborating in Digs. Today, teams often need to have internal conversations or share sensitive details—like pricing discussions or trade-specific coordination—without exposing them to the entire project team. With Private Layers, users will be able to create dedicated, access-controlled layers within their plans, allowing for: Internal team collaboration without external visibility Confidential conversations between builders and trades Private markups for budgeting, coordination, or pre-client review This feature is built to support trusted, secure collaboration, helping teams communicate more freely while keeping the right people looped in—and others out. 🔐 Private where it matters. Collaborative where it counts. Stay tuned!
Comment Enhancements
Images and Selection Documents
I’d like to be able to see images of a selection on the floorplan and in the chat, and to link to a document that is specifically about that component. Also being able to adjust items 3d modeled on the floorplan. For example, there is a shower that has been modeled in the elevator of my floorplan for some reason.

Permissions - Granular
File Type Enhancement
Include additional file types like, DWG, Sketchup, etc. This will help for collaboration and sharing.

Blueprint - Transfer Comment/Annotation/Markup to New Blueprint version
Builder Dashboard
Version Control
Dropbox Integration: Sync Files Bi-directionally
This integration would enable the ability to select 1 or more Documents/Folders and ensure that they remain up to date in both locations as modifications,, additions, or deletions occur in the Doc/Folder.
Inspiration Board(s)
Rearrange Folder Structure
Adding the ability to manually adjust the arrangement of folders within the project Dynamic Island. Also add the ability to sort the folders from a selected list of sort options.
Sharepoint Integration (MS / Microsoft)
Centralized Admin view: Manage Project Users
We need a way to administer our users. We need to be able to manage all of a single user’s project access with one button push. At present, user management is conducted at the project level. This change would allow us to instantly upgrade a user or demote them to a collaborator across several projects within a matter of moments.

Custom Icons
Having the ability to upload your own custom iconography to Digs, so you are able to use your own icons while diagramming and designing a project.
Single comment for multiple layers
You have a layer named Laundry Room and layer named Plumbing. You would like to reference the laundry sink plumbing fixture on the plumbing layer and laundry room layer. You could assign the laundry sink plumbing fixture to the plumber and then keep the comment on the Laundry room layer.
3D Rendering (objects)
Not to be confused with 3D dollhouse, this improvement will open up more possibilities for implementing 3d Rendered artifacts, appliances, or even materials in an environment

Scheduling - Gantt
Coming Soon: Gantt View in Scheduling We’re taking Digs Scheduling to the next level with the introduction of a Gantt View—a powerful, visual timeline that makes it easier than ever to plan, adjust, and communicate project progress. With Gantt View, you’ll be able to: • Visually manage your build schedule with drag-and-drop simplicity • Switch between time scales (Weeks, Months, Quarters, or Year) to match the scope of your projects • See dependencies in action—when one stage is delayed, the rest adjust automatically • Set up reminder sequences to notify your team before key dates or deadlines • (Stretch) Save and reuse schedule templates to standardize builds across projects • Calendar view integration for easier cross-team planning and stakeholder visibility Whether you’re managing one build or an entire development, Gantt View brings clarity, flexibility, and control to your project timeline—all in a format your team will love. Stay tuned—your timeline is about to get a whole lot smarter.
Digs Signatures Improvements
Improves Notifications, Editing and Resend capabilities, State of requests
Normalize document "Share" functions
Today, the various screens of Digs allow for invitation or perms management in the top right. When you click, depending on the page you are on, you may see an opportunity to invite a user to a project, change the permissions for a folder, and more. If you lose that context, it is confusing to users how to accomplish these tasks. This work will normalize this experience so that the click/and feature presentation is consistent across all users/pages

Tasks: Due dates/Reminders/Punch List
Coming Soon: Smarter Task Management in Digs We’ve heard your feedback—and we’re making tasks in Digs more powerful, organized, and actionable. Currently, tasks are limited to comments, with no way to set due dates or track progress. That’s about to change. Our upcoming update introduces a more structured task management experience, including: • Assignable due dates to keep work on schedule • Reminders to ensure nothing slips through the cracks • The ability to create tasks independently—not just within comments • A centralized task view where you can manage all your tasks across a project in one place This feature will bring greater visibility, accountability, and organization to every project—making it easier for teams to stay aligned and get the job done. Better tasks. Better workflows. Coming soon to Digs.
3D Dollhouse
Conversion of the 2D floor plan to create a 3D explorable floorplan. The Digs 3D Dollhouse is designed to offer a contextual view and representation of the homes you’re building for your clients. We have big plans for how this feature will evolve, and we’re excited to keep you involved as we move forward.
Scheduling
A straightforward Scheduling feature that improves communication between Builders and Stakeholders. Digs Scheduling is designed to provide a streamlined, accessible project timeline that highlights the current stage, upcoming phases, and automatically notifies stakeholders of any changes or delays. This feature prioritizes simplicity and clarity over complexity, ensuring users can quickly understand project progress without navigating a comprehensive scheduling tool. Digs intends to improve and expand Scheduling features in future releases based on customer feedback. Learn more in our FAQ.
Company Files and Folders
Company Files and Folders - New functionality within Digs. While central document storage is not an innovation in the market, it provides significant value to Digs customers who have historically been limited to project-specific storage. Company Files and Folders enables users to store, share, and collaborate on documents independently of projects. It creates a centralized file structure within an organization's workspace, facilitating document management across teams for legal, permit, engineering, and corporate documents. This feature promotes seamless collaboration and efficient document handling, improving customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. Check the FAQ for more details.

Digs Integrated eSignatures
Partnered with Dropbox Sign, Digs would implement a central solution for remote\/paperless signatures to be collected. Users will be able to define a needed package of changes, update signature fields and annotations, and attache relevant documents to the package. Packages are sent out for signature and stores with in the pertinent Digs project to document changes and updates to Build, Warranty, and Aftercare history. More details on how to use eSignatures. Additional Improvements are being prioritized

Currently to use a physical printer, users must download a file to their local filesystem (Windows, Mac, IOS etc) This improvement will allow for print to be available directly through Digs.
Video Upload & Playback
This feature introduces a seamless, integrated video player that allows users to upload, view, and playback videos directly within Digs. Supporting multiple video formats and resolutions, this enhancement will enable you to attach videos to blueprints, provide visual walkthroughs, and document issues more effectively.
Iconography
We have received feedback from users using the annotation tool and they need a way to drop icons onto a blueprint, document or image. For example, electricians use outlet, light switch, GFCI, breaker, etc. type icons to show specific locations of electrical equipment. Allows for additional ways of annotating and collaboration within Icons are used to address changes to plans, convey updates to homeowners and subcontractors and allow for easier collaboration.
