Sometimes tasks are determined in the middle of a discussion. This capability would allow the creation of a task from the center of a comment thread, allowing easy transition to a task with out losing the context of the conversation that created it.

Mid-Thread Tasks

Today, the various screens of Digs allow for invitation or perms management in the top right. When you click, depending on the page you are on, you may see an opportunity to invite a user to a project, change the permissions for a folder, and more. If you lose that context, it is confusing to users how to accomplish these tasks. This work will normalize this experience so that the click/and feature presentation is consistent across all users/pages

You have a layer named Laundry Room and layer named Plumbing. You would like to reference the laundry sink plumbing fixture on the plumbing layer and laundry room layer. You could assign the laundry sink plumbing fixture to the plumber and then keep the comment on the Laundry room layer.

This Procore integration would be dedicated to getting Digs Projects created that are linked to Procore Projects. This unlocks the ability for Procore users to surface a Digs Handoff and Warranty experience for their Homeowners. The goal is to meet Procore users in their space, while still retaining the amazing user experience Digs has crafted. As feedback comes in, we plan to improve and extend features meaningfully.

Since the launch of Digs, the base layer on a floor plan document is unrestricted, allowing for anyone to place data on it. This is the default location for Comments/Markup when a layer has not been selected. This modification would make the Base Layer a layer you can turn on and off, no longer inaccessible. This will ensure data can be hidden or removed from view with out having to take additional actions.
